Joy is in the details.

About (The less philosophical version.)

I am a designer with 9 years of experience.

I've helped create brands, objects, and experiences that have manifested in print, digital, web, app, environmental, and wayfinding design.

I've had the privilege of working with design-minded clients across an array of industries and mediums—most notably Houston Zoo, Houston Museum District, Ion District, Goode Co. Restaurants, Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen, and Southern Smoke Foundation.

With each client, I've listened, strategized, designed, pitched, iterated, and managed production from end to end.

I believe:
  • there is good in every day.
  • all problems have solutions*.
  • *a determined, beginner's mind helps you find them.
  • listening is essential.
  • asking why leads to what and how.
  • order can be teased out of chaos (and sustained).
  • details are paramount.
  • other perspectives make my work better.
What I've been working on:

In 2024, my wife and I launched 55 and Park—an online shop for theme park- and pop-culture-inspired art and apparel. Every month, we drop new designs that celebrate the people, places, and parks that we've come to know and love. ✨

While on staff at Principle, I initiated and co-lead a "design for good" initiative entitled In Kindness—a once-a-year pro bono brand project for a Texas-based nonprofit. Launched in 2022, our inaugural work for Southern Smoke Foundation has helped raise $3.42 million dollars for food and beverage workers in crisis. 🤝

In 2021, I helped launch Old Iron Press—a female-led, independent publisher dedicated to retooled classics. Since then, we’ve deployed a line of writing-inspired merch and published our first book, Playing Authors: An Anthology. 📚

In 2020, I rekindled my childhood obsession with LEGO and have created a variety of MOC sets, including this architectural model of James Turrell's “Twilight Epiphany” Skyspace, a close-to-anatomically accurate wood duck, a snowman bidding farewell to winter, and a series of miniature Braun product models (ex. HL-70 and KF-20). 🧱
